- Exhibitionism:
the desire to show sexual behavior or sexual body parts to other people.
This can be done voluntary (legal) or involuntary (illegal).
- Fetishism: the
sexual arousal caused by objects such as clothes, shoes, leather,
or other 'things'.
- Frotteurism:
the desire to touch someone sexually (for example touch the genitals)
without permission.
- Pedophilia: the
sexual desire to have sex with children aged 13 or younger.
- Sexual masochism:
the desire to be humiliated, tied up or beaten.
- Sexual sadism:
the sexual desire to hurt others, either physically of mentally.
- Fetishistic transvestitism:
being sexual aroused by transvestites.
- Voyeurism: The
sexual arousal caused by spying on someone that is naked or is making
love.
Normal
Their are a lot of different types of sexual relationships. Most people
have one partner and have a monogamous relationship. Other people have
a more 'open' relationship and have sex with other people besides their
partner. In these types of relationships a variety of sexual behavior
exists. The television reports about this a lot. Every sexual behavior
that is not done against the will of one of the participants is not
abnormal. It may be eccentric, though.
Abnormal
Sexual desires can become a problem. Some people can only get aroused
by objects. This can be a problem when your partner does not want to
involve objects in the sex. Of course it is abnormal if you want to
involve people in sex involuntary. In this case, sexual desires can
lead to sexual crimes.
